The committee working to start a Tasmanian chapter of the globally recognised PMI (Project Management Institute) is pleased to have partnered with local Tasmanian consulting firm, Resonance, who will sponsor the chapter's launch and conference. A reception is scheduled to take place on the 4th April 2023 at Government House, Hobart, followed by a mini conference on the morning of 5th April at the Elizabeth Street conference venue in Hobart (and virtually).
After nine months of preparations, the working group has completed almost all of the prerequisites to start the new Tasmanian PMI Chapter. But until the chapter is official and has set up bank accounts, it isn't possible to fund raise to conduct a launch event that would be worthy of this exciting occasion. The Governor of Tasmania, Her Excellency the Honourable Barbara Baker AC, has already been extremely generous in agreeing to host a reception to celebrate the launch at Government House, but there are so many other expenses to hosting an event of this nature. Then along came Resonance with the offer to sponsor our inaugural conference!!!
