About the event

Overview

Ben Kinnane will talk through why construction projects often follow a waterfall approach and proper planning is encouraged.  He will also discuss the relevance of understanding Agile in this context and how to challenge what proper planning is, and why he often choose a more hybrid approach. He will further explain the key phase(s) of successful planning, and some of the areas of his current PMS that add value (and some that don't).

Learning Outcomes:

  1. Agile vs Waterfall and when to choose.

  2. Construction & Waterfall - Proper planning prevents poor performance.

  3. The Caveat - Risk vs Reward (when to start)
